Tue, 3 November 2009 DANNY ENDORSES BETH OLSON! DANNY ENDORSES BETH OLSON! Yes, you read that correctly. It is election day here in Duluth and our favorite fake radio show host has already cast his ballot. While he refuses to tell Ashley who he voted for, he does shock the world by encouraging his listeners to choose Beth Olson when they head to their polling places today. Why would he do this? What is the motivation? You'll just have to listen to find out. Not only that, but Danny reiterates his predictions on today's council races along with throwing out some more crazy theories about Becky Hall, Beth Olson supporters, and more. But that's not all. Looks like the Northland NewsCenter is feeling some heat over an upcoming interview. DDD has the story along with out patented analysis. Enjoy today's episode! Mon, 2 November 2009 Tomorrow is election day here in the Duluth. There are many races for city council and for school board that will all be determined by Duluthians filling in little ovals with ball-point pens. Today's DDD marks the first of a three part series where we'll discuss the various races and the results. On this show Danny reads the full version of his "Reader's View" letter which appeared in yesterday's edition of the DNT. Also, Ashley forces Danny to give some predictions on the At-Large race. The pair also manage to throw in a few digs at the moronic duo of Subdouche and "C" (who seem to now somehow think that Danny is the mastermind behind the Duluth Citizens Blog).Enjoy! Wed, 28 October 2009 The "I, Me, My" Game has been something that Danny and Ashley have been wanting to incorporate into DDD since the show's inception. Recently, the opinion section of the DNT has assisted in that endeavor by printing a letter from a local member of the teacher community. This piece is ripe for the pickings for this game. However, Danny has decided to raise the stakes a bit and bring in a very special recurring guest to read the letter and play along with the "I, Me, My" Game. We at Danny Does Duluth welcome back the great Tom Shad for this all new episode! Wed, 21 October 2009 There's just too much going on lately for us to cover all of it. Of course, we here at DDD have somewhat odd standards sometimes. Today is not one of those times. The race for the 2nd district City Council seat seems to be really heating up. Many questions have been left unanswered. Danny has decided to take today's show to offer another appearance for candidate for that seat, Robert Wagner. Today, Wagner answers a number of questions including his thoughts on the DNT's endorsement of his opponent, Boyle's no-show at the DNT's own candidate forum, accusations against Wagner about his true intentions in this race, and the fire department. It's a good conversation. Ashley and Danny also read and provide their patented in-depth analysis of the actual DNT endorsement of Doyle that is in-question. Good show today, folks. Enjoy! Tue, 20 October 2009 Have you ever heard of this guy Larry Sinclair? No? Well, neither had Danny. At least not until very, very recently...yesterday, in fact. In keeping with the tradition of Duluth being behind on absolutely everything, Danny covers the story of Larry Sinclair on today's episode of the show. You see, back in the summer of 2008, Sinclair made some rather damning accusations against our current prez, Barry Obama. He even held a pseudo-press conference to reveal those accusations. Mon, 19 October 2009 Welcome faithful listeners! And welcome new listeners! Hell...welcome everyone! We're back today with an all new episode of the Northland's favorite, and most-listened to podcast, Danny Does Duluth. The show begins with Danny recounting this past weekend's outing between himself and his lovely wife as they celebrate 11 years of marriage...and 11 years of Danny being a total moron. This is reflected by something idiotic that Danny does at the happy couple's anniversary dinner. After this intriguing story, Ashley and Danny take a listen to a short sound-clip from the Northland NewsCenter's Kevin Jacobson. In the audio file Jacobson flubs his lines a bit. Sounds like no big deal, right? Wrong! Ashley and Danny manage to spend over 10 minutes analyzing the error and providing theories as to what exactly went wrong. Intriguing, no? Anyway...enjoy!Direct download: EPISODE_204_-_Kevin_Jacobson_Says_Distribuation_Twice.mp3 Category: DANNY DOES DULUTH episode -- posted at: 1:51 PM Comments[1] |
